Eco resin earring workshop on offer in Maroochydore

ResArtDesigns will be hosting a practical workshop for people interested in learning about jewellery making and working with resin and it will be held at its studio in Maroochydore.

The workshop will include learning how to personally design a pair of earrings, including choosing from a selection of natural botanical cuttings to set in the resin, pouring the resin and processes involved before the resin sets. Participants will have a choice of returning at a later date to learn the finishing off process and applying the jewellery hardware to their earrings, or having that done for them ready for pick up after the specified timing for curing the jewellery pieces.

During the workshop, participants will be provided with a facemask, gloves and an apron to protect them during the resin pouring process. Creative elements provided for the design process include dried flowers and leaf cuttings, copper, gold and silver foils and a variety of moulds.

Practical workshops that give attendees a hands-on experience to learn new skills can be an encouraging way to build community and self-esteem. Flyer printing campaigns can be eye-catching way to promote workshops such as this to the public.

The eco resin earrings workshop will be held at the ResArtDesigns studio located at 6/100 Sugar Road in Maroochydore on 5th July from 9:30am-11:30am. The cost of the workshop is from $45.
