Those in Maroochydore who are looking for a lively party to end 2024 might wish to book a table at the RSL for an ‘80s themed evening.
The evening at Maroochy RSL starts as early as 5.30pm with live music from The JSB band and the Chilli Padi Duo. The evening will definitely have an ‘80s flavour with music from the decade, ‘80s cocktails and attendees encouraged to dress in their best ‘80s gear, such as rara skirts, neon accessories, legwarmers and shell suits.
The JSB - Jimmy Sogalrey Band - is a high energy Brisbane group that consists of Jimmy and Andrew Scrivens, Christian Boeger and Ash Carnie. Coming together in 2018, their skill in being versatile means the band can manage ballads through to dance floor fillers, and is therefore ideal for a New Year’s Eve party.
The Chilli Padi Duo consists of Malaysian Ravie and Indonesian Riki. The duo is able to cover popular songs with their own inimitable style, so party-goers on the night are assured of having an evening to remember.
Poster printing to advertise New Year’s Eve events will probably be undertaken locally.
The New Year’s Back to the 80’s Party will take place from 5.30pm on Tuesday 31 December at Maroochy RSL, which can be found at 105 Memorial Avenue in Maroochydore. It is necessary to make a booking for this event.
