Maroochydore residents can enjoy discounted entry to the Caloundra Music Festival next month, thanks to a special deal from the council.
The festival is a popular annual event, and the council organises the cheap tickets to enable locals to enjoy the music as much as visitors do. The passes are available for the final day of the celebrations, known as Good Times Monday.
To gain discounted entry, residents need to get a coupon from the Mooloolaba Surf Club, which will reduce the gate ticket price by $10. The participating clubs also have free double passes up for grabs as part of a competition.
The line-up for Monday features Australian music legends Russell Morris, Joe Camilleri, and Richard Clapton, who will take to the stage with Vika and Linda Bull to play a selection of their hits.
Fans might like to think about banner printing to show their support for their favourite artists as they take to the stage, and the best messages might even attract a comment from the musicians.
Artists scheduled for the other festival days include John Butler, Pete Murray, and Megan Washington.
The event runs from Friday, October 3rd to Monday, October 6th at Kings Beach Park. Festival goers are encouraged to use public transport and the special Park and Ride services. For tickets for any other day, visit the festival website.
