Canadian American singer-songwriter catalogue to be played

Fans of Neil Young in Maroochydore and surrounding areas may be keen to buy tickets for a tribute afternoon that embraces his vast influence in music and song-writing. Performances are often advertised locally by the undertaking of poster printing for promotion purposes.

The Honeysliders are a country/rock band, originally formed from a cover band called James and the Giants. Two of the original members, Jamie Buckboro and Micah Bell, joined with keyboard player Alex Campballse and drummer Jesse Miller to form The Honeysliders. The band is currently working on their first full-length record. At the tribute afternoon, the Honeysliders will play the entirety of ‘Everybody Knows This is Nowhere’, plus other Neil Young classics such as ‘Harvest Moon’ and ‘Heart of Gold’.

The album ‘Everybody Knows This is Nowhere’ was released by Neil Young in 1969, in conjunction with his backing band Crazy Horse. The album was ranked at 407 in Rolling Stone magazine’s The Greatest Albums of All Time three years ago. Four of the songs from this album, namely ‘Cinnamon Girl’, ‘Down by the River’, ‘Cowgirl in the Sand’ and ‘Everybody Knows This is Nowhere’ are considered as standards in Young’s repertoire.

The Honeysliders playing Neil Young’s “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere” takes place at The Solbar, Maroochydore, QLD, on Sunday 19th February at 4pm. Tickets cost $44.40.
