The Caloundra Music Festival will take place from October 7-9 at Kings Beach Park. Music lovers from all over the Sunshine Coast, including Mooloolaba, will be flocking to this annual event which celebrates environmentalism, Australian culture and community pride. This festival also presents some first class musical acts from Australia and around the world.
The festival is a lot more than music. Those attending can enjoy a street parade, roving performers, a beach carnival, buskers, children’s entertainment areas, food and market stalls and a Glee competition. There will be 5 stages named after sponsors presenting such musical acts as The Strides, Booker T. Jones, The Joe Kings, Allen Toussaint and The Lucky Wonders. The Caloundra Music Festival, now in its fifth year, is presented by the South Coast Regional Council who are committed to the cultural diversity and celebration of the region and its people.
