UK comedy evening headed to North Lakes

A venue based in North Lakes is set to host a dining event that has been inspired by a British comedy television show.

Fans of food and comedy that hails from the other side of the world will soon be able to enjoy both at the upcoming event. The international show, called Fawlty Towers: The Original Dining Experience Melbourne, will allow guests to enjoy a three-course meal while witnessing the antics of the much-loved UK comedy series’ characters – husband and wife team Basil and Sybil Fawlty and Manuel, their waiter from Barcelona.

Restaurants and clubs hosting special events like comedy nights can use poster printing services to create advertisements that urge people to attend. The upcoming show in North Lakes is regarded as both the most successful and longest running tribute to the acclaimed British television show. The live and interactive experience is two-thirds improvised, ensuring every performance is one of a kind for attendees.

Fawlty Towers: The Original Dining Experience is set to take place at North Lakes Sports Club, at 36 to 42 Flinders Parade, on Thursday, January 20 from 6 pm onwards. Tickets are priced at $90 per head and include a 1970s-style three-course dinner. Due to the adult humour involved, the show is only suited to those who are 18 years of age and over.
