An event designed to discuss and address safety and wellbeing for nurses at work is being hosted by an esteemed accommodator in North Lakes.
Those in the nursing profession locally can attend a meeting titled Standing Strong this spring. The assembly has been organised to examine safety and culture in the workplace and features six guest speakers.

Challenging unfair and unsafe behaviour in nursing shifts, the event explores topics like fear-based leadership, bias in recruitment and promotion and burnout being disguised as resilience. Delegates will obtain practical strategies on how to build psychological safety, respond safely to bullying, address bias confidently and protect their wellbeing.
The summit is delivered by nurses with extensive experience and an understanding of frontline reality. An interactive event, it includes real world examples, workshops, a workbook, a structured integration session and a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) certificate.
