North Lakes welcomes advanced first aid workshop

An advanced training course in first aid will be held in North Lakes later this year.

An upcoming practical education course entitled “HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid” will be taught in North Lakes. The comprehensive course is specifically designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver life support, management of casualties and other key areas of advanced first aid response in both community and workplace situations.

The upcoming training session is organised by Asset College, an award-winning study course provider. Organisations offering educational opportunities like classes and courses can sometimes employ brochure printing services to create informative Booklets outlining topics involved and detailing any certification awarded.

Aimed at those seeking to improve their ability to manage emergency situations, the course will help them deliver advanced first aid calmly and effectively when required. The unit being taught provides the vital skills needed to administer advanced first aid to a casualty as established by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC), among other national clinical bodies. The class requires candidates to complete online assessments before and during the course.

The advanced first aid course will take place at 18 Flinders Parade in North Lakes on Saturday, May 14. The training course will commence at 8.30 am and end at 5 pm. Admission to the workshop is priced at $320 per person.
