North Lakes to screen school age cinema

A cinema based in North Lakes will screen a film designed for school-age children featuring the many personal challenges young people are facing today.

This coming February, Event Cinemas in North Lakes will proudly be presenting a new film entitled “Embrace Kids”. A time-honoured practice of cinema complexes, theatres and boutique picture houses is to employ expert poster printing services to create eye-catching advertisements for the titles they screen to encourage ticket sales.

In association with Fluid Health Co., the Queensland cinema venue will show the feature-length documentary designed for a school-age audience. The uplifting movie was first created by film maker Taryn Brim in 2016 and seamlessly collects a vibrant array of tales from famous friends, and young people. On film, they share their real-life experiences of many issues facing those of school age across Australia including bullying, body image, gender identity, representation and advocacy, to name a few.

The documentary Embrace Kids is set to be screened at Event Cinemas in North Lakes on Friday, February 3. However, the screening taking place is dependent on ticket sales. Should insufficient seats be sold, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders.

The venue can be found at the corner of Anzac Avenue and North Lakes Drive and the film will start at 6:30pm and end at 8:30pm.
