A dog training school designed to teach puppies and their owners the skills they need will hold classes in North Lakes later this year.
North Lakes residents with puppy as a family member can enrol in a school designed for young canines this spring. The four-week puppy school (one hour each week) is organised by DogTraining 101 and is being hosted by the Bounty Boulevard State School.

The training also includes video content to support learning puppy learning journeys with practice exercises at home.
Designed for young puppies who are under 16 weeks old. Classes will take place in small groups that contain a maximum of six puppies. Involving practice and play, the training also let puppies improve their socialising skills making it easier for owners when they encounter other dogs when taking a walk. A total of eight commands will be taught in the classes including hand signals for puppies to follow.
North Lakes Puppy School training classes will take place at Bounty Boulevard State School and run from Sunday October 6 onwards. Classes are held between 5 pm and 6 pm and the school can be found at Lot 988 on Bounty Boulevard in North Lakes. The price to attend the four-week course is $137 per person.
