North Lakes to present English class

A class designed to help people improve their English listening and speaking skills will take place at a community hub in North Lakes later this year.

Residents of North Lakes interested in improving their English language skills can participate in a class taking place in the suburb this spring. Titled the “Conversational English Group”, the morning session in October aims to help attendees enhance their listening and speaking skills in a supportive environment.

The educational experience is open to everyone wishing to improve their conversational English skills and is operated by Encircle in association with Moreton Bay Region Libraries.

Community centres like libraries running classes and courses sometimes reach out to professional printing services to create study resources for those enrolling.

The informal group offers a relaxed and friendly setting designed to promote a favourable atmosphere for learning. The classes are led by experienced volunteer tutors and educators and conversation topics covered in the sessions include interesting and relevant subjects.

The Conversational English Group will be held at Meeting Room 2 at North Lakes Library on Monday, October 20. The meeting room is above the main library, and the class starts at 9.30 am and ends at 11 am. The library is easy to locate at 10 The Corso in North Lakes and the class is completely free for all to attend.
