Kite lovers and residents of North Lakes have a treat in store for them with the upcoming Redcliffe KiteFest set to return with a weekend of high-flying family fun. Recognised as one of the region’s most popular events, the annual kite festival has become a much-anticipated part of the Moreton Bay region’s social calendar.
This year’s festival promises to be no less exciting than years past, with a massive lineup of kite demonstrations, family-friendly entertainment, live music, amusement rides, and market stalls. Children’s favorites Bluey and Bingo from the hit cartoon are also set to put in an appearance. Family-friendly community events such as this can benefit from banner printing to help promote key details and information to attendees.
In addition to all the other attractions, the stars undisputed stars of the event will be the kite shows and displays organised by Kites Queensland. Taking place over two days, the festival will be showing off some of the largest and most impressive kites ever seen in Queensland skies, and also offers the opportunity for people to bring and fly their own.
Scheduled for the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September, the Redcliffe KiteFest runs from 9 am to 4 pm each day at Pelican Park. With limited tickets, it is highly recommended that attendees jump online to the Redcliffe KiteFest website to book their spot ahead of time.
