The Colour Frenzy Fun Walk or Run will be held again in North Lakes.
The community event is open to children and adults of all ages and fitness levels, with the course designed to be entertaining and light-hearted.
Contestants can skip, walk, run or even dance their way past obstacles and through fun colour powder stations where volunteers will happily throw a non-toxic, brightly colour powder over participants.
There will be a clearly marked 1.7 kilometre track prepared where participants can choose to do one, two or three laps, depending on their fitness levels. There is no time limit to complete the course, as it is entirely self-paced.
Race packs which include wrist bands, safety glasses and personal chalk Bags are available for contestants to pick up at 7:30am on the morning of the race, with the first race beginning an hour later at 8:30am.
The day will also include entertainment with live music, market stalls and food vans. The event is sponsored by local businesses with flyer or poster printing being a good way to advertise products and services.
Tickets cost $10 for entry with an additional $10 if a tutu is required, with children under five admitted free. This is an alcohol-free event and will be held at Lake Eden, North Lakes on Sunday 14th April.Get a Free Quote for Bags
