The Mill is planned to be a large scale, mixed-use development, and it is located on two major train lines. In the precinct’s centre is the University of the Sunshine Coast Moreton Bay campus, which opened in 2020. The three-storey building is on the site of the old Petrie Paper Mill, and it boasts state-of-the-art technology, engineering labs, science and nursing simulation labs and a 460-seat auditorium.

The Petrie train station and the Petrie to Kippa-Ring shared pathway are close by, making access easy and hassle-free.
