Moreton Bay festival promotes local talent

The Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival is returning to Redcliffe Parade this year to showcase local restaurants and operators.

Attendees can pre-book for a variety of special themed dinners and workshops for a curated experience, or they can simply drop in and wander around the precinct to sample the array of products on offer.

The Free Festival Precinct will host a range of free events including cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, workshops and pop-up bars and market stalls. Craft Brews by the Bay is expected to be a popular hangout for attendees keen to sample beers from local and independent breweries. Local brewery White Brick Brewing has been a supporter of the festival in the past and is featured on the festival’s website to promote the Craft Brews by the Bay program.

White Bricks Brewery opened in North Lakes in 2017, and founder Adam Gibb has been vocal about his support for the local community. The brewery hosts regular beer education sessions, tours and masterclasses to pass on Gibb’s own passion for beer to the rest of the community.

From the outside, the brewery looks unassuming, set in an industrial style building. A large printed banner proclaiming “Bar Open” helps to attract passers-by to enter the sleek, industrial interior. Once inside, the monochromatic White Brick Brewery Logo Design can be seen repeatedly, adorning beer glasses and coasters, as well as Promotional Products like baseball caps.

The festival will be held over two days on the 7th and 8th of September.
