North Lakes and other suburbs of Moreton Bay are in for a treat with the Moreton Bay Motor Show. More than 10,000 visitors are expected at Pine Rivers Park in Strathpine over the weekend of June 17 and 18.
As this is the first event of its kind in the area, there will be locally printed Signs as well as banner printing to help spectators decide which areas to visit.
In addition to unique and vintage cars, there will be plenty of musical entertainment, including Diesel on Saturday at 4:00 pm. Motoring discussions will be held in the Motor Talks Pavilion on both days, and there will be spectacular displays and races in the Thrills and Skills Park.
Visitors can test their own skills in the Triple M Man Cave with arcade games and a V8 Supercar Simulator. Those who prefer a different kind of relaxation can enjoy craft beer at the Chevy Bar.
Pine Rivers Park is at 125 Gympie Road, Strathpine. Gates will open at 9:00 am.
Tickets are $10 for adults and over 16s, and $5 for concession, students and under 16s. Family tickets for two adults and two children are $25. All tickets are valid for one day only (there are no two-day tickets) and can be purchased on the day, or online from the Visit Moreton Bay website.
