Fun weekend in store as Variety hosts Brats Bash fundraiser

Residents of Moreton Bay suburbs such as North Lakes, Queensland, are preparing for a fun weekend that helps raise money for the children’s charity Variety.

The 2014 Brats Bash can be enjoyed by all ages. It welcomes families, and ensures there is a focus on fun for children who take part.

As a result, the event hosts a wide array of competitions and themed nights, with the ultimate goal being the raising of much-needed funds to assist the children of Queensland.

Many liken the Brat’s Bash to the popular Variety Bash, which has become the nation’s largest motoring event. Both raise money for disadvantaged kids and are lots of fun for all participants. The former, however, puts a focus on activities and entertainment for the kids themselves.

This year’s, Brats Bash begins in Caboolture on June 7th and heads out to Kenilworth Homestead just over an hour’s drive away. However, it won’t be all clear sailing, as organisers have ensured there will lots of adventures along the way.

On Sunday they will hit the road again to explore some bush tracks, before returning for an afternoon of games.

For the first time, the event will also include a Brats Variety Concert, followed by a special awards night.

The Brats Bash not only raises money for a worthwhile cause, but also generates lots of memorabilia such as photographs, which can be used for everything from promotional Brochures to postcard printing.
