A North Lakes venue is set to present a day loaded with free entertainment designed for families in the area.
This May the North Lakes Community Centre will be providing an event featuring a wide range of family friendly performances. The City of Moreton Bay is presenting the Saturday show which combines live entertainment and creative experiences for all age groups.
Organisers of local events at civic buildings sometimes look to high-quality Print shops to create branded notices listing key information like age restrictions and start times.
Between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm, a show called “Incredabubbles” featuring humungous bubbles will launch the day’s activities followed by an installation featuring hand-made puppets and a practical workshop working with clay from running 10 am.
Body Percussion is the next event at 10.30 am where audiences can clap, click, stomp and snap, with The Joy Dispensary. At 11.45 am, a pop-up performance from senior dancers will take place on stage until 2 pm when comedian Jenny Wynter will lead the Funny Mummies Comedy Gala as the final performance set to finish at 3.30 pm.
The family fun day is completely free for all to attend and will be held at the North Lakes Community Centre on Saturday, May 11. The programme of events will start at 9.30 am and the public hub is situated at 10 The Corso in North Lakes.
