Colour frenzy coming to North Lakes

A colourful race will be held at North Lakes later this month.

The Colour Frenzy fun, walk and run competition is a family event suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

Held annually, the fun run will feature a 1.65km track around the esplanade of Lake Eden. Participants can elect to run one lap, or more depending on their fitness and there is no time limit on finishing. The track is also wheelchair friendly with the main loop of the track on the paths.

Along the track, multiple stations will be set up where runners can be doused head to toe with coloured powder. It is recommended participants wear clothing that is easily cleaned and brushes will be provided on the day for runners to remove some of the powder before getting into their cars and heading home.

Warm up for the event will begin at 8:15am and a race pack, including wrist bands, sunnies, and a personal race bag will be available for collection on the day before the race. The main event is scheduled to begin at 8:30am. Flyer printing may be used to advertise this or other upcoming events.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children and $70 for a family. The event will be held on Sunday 22nd September at Lake Eden, North Lakes.
