A travelling film festival from America will be arriving in Randwick this spring to showcase acclaimed short films at its celebrated cinema.
Film buffs in Randwick are in for an evening to remember this October. The Sydney suburb’s renowned Ritz Cinemas in playing host to Mountainfilm on Tour 2024. The tour is designed to bring the world a selection of the very best short films shown at the famous Mountainfilm festival, which is held every year in Telluride, Colorado in the US.
Cinemas have a close connection with poster printing services, with attractive and engaging one-sheets being a time-honoured method of advertising films and film festivals.
The festival tour invites cinemagoers to participate in an exhibition celebrating both the art and magic of movie making, highlighting the fresh ideas and creativity of auteurs seeking to trailblaze and help make a better world. Running sing 1979, Colorado’s Mountainfilm festival is recognised as one of the longest-running events of its kind in the USA.
The first time Mountainfilm on Tour arrived in Australia and New Zealand was back in 2017. The 2024 tour marks the sixth Australasian tour for the cinema showcase.
The Mountainfilm on Tour event will be at the Ritz Cinemas on Thursday, October 24. Short film screenings will begin from 7 pm onwards and the cinema can be found located at 45 St Pauls Street in Randwick.
