Climate workshop to come to Randwick

Randwick locals are preparing for a climate workshop coming to the suburb in March.

Organised by Randwick City Council and forming part of the Saturday Circle, the workshop is perfect for people who are new to the topic of climate change, or for those who want to learn how to spread awareness and empower those around them.

The three-hour workshop will be based on a card game, with each of the 42 cards representing a feature of the climate system.

Attendees will work in teams and be guided by a facilitator to determine the cause-and-effect relationships among the forces and mechanisms at play.

Together, the teams will use strategy and knowledge to solve the puzzle, build a visual representation of climate change - or a “Fresk” - and understand the complexity of climate change.

At the end of the game, attendees will connect for a discussion on actions and solutions.

Organisers of community workshops can use Logo Design to help their event stand out. A contemporary, attractive logo is a great way to share a business’ purpose and mission, and to draw interest and more attendance to an event.

Climate Fresk will be held on Saturday, 14 March. The venue will be the Randwick Sustainability Hub, 27 Munda Street, Randwick. The climate workshop will start at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 12:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through the Humanitix website.
