The city of Randwick is set to host its popular annual fireworks display at one of its coastal suburbs later this year.
Residents of Randwick won’t want to miss an evening of illuminations in the East Ward this summer. The city is once again welcoming back its much-loved end-of-year event called “Coogee Sparkles” that will usher in 2026 with a spectacular fireworks display on the beach.
Accompanying the 15-minute-long New Year’s light show there will a range of roving entertainers performing on the promenade to create a party atmosphere.
Organisers of the upcoming event advise those wishing to attend the show that no smoking, alcohol or glass is permitted at the shorefront location or in the nearby reserves. Furthermore, guests are reminded to take their rubbish with them when leaving, or dispose of it responsibly.
Local government authorities putting on outdoor events often use dedicated banner printing services to create signage that informs members of the public of important rules and guidelines.
Coogee Sparkles will now take place on Wednesday, December 31 at Coogee Beach in Randwick close to the Dunningham Reserve. The fireworks will begin at 9 pm to entertain attendees at the beach’s northern end. However, there will be several other vantage points to see the display including Clovelly Beach Car Park, the Goldstein Reserve, the Grant Reserve, Burrows Park Headland and the Trenerry Reserve.
