A celebrated singer-songwriter from Australia will soon play live in Sydney.

Music lovers from Randwick will soon get an opportunity to enjoy the music of Morgan Evans when the Australian artist takes to the stage of the Sydney Opera House in September for a single-night performance. From his blue-collar origins in Sydney suburb Newcastle, Evans has risen to become an Australian music icon. He released his self-titled debut album in 2014, completing the initial leg on his musical journey. He started when he was just 13, playing in his first band. In 2015 he won the Country Music Association’s (CMAs) Global Artist Award for outstanding achievements.

Since then, his career has seen the country-rocker ride high on international tours and accolades at home for his song writing and performance skills. He has played for an audience of over 50,000 at Nashville’s biggest festival for country music, and toured with musical superstars like Alan Jackson and Taylor Swift.

Morgan Evans will now perform live on stage at Sydney Opera House on Tuesday, September 12. The internationally famous events venue can be found at Bennelong Point in Sydney; the concert will start at 7pm and end at 11pm.
