A festive instalment of a regular Randwick City Library event is planned to take place next week.
Randwick families looking for a local community event to enjoy in December will find that the Randwick City Library has them covered. The first Wednesday of the month will see the organiser operate a seasonal edition of its popular “Spark in the Park” series.
Local libraries running community events sometimes get help from flyer printing services that can design and supply colourful adverts to encourage members of the public to participate.
The theme for the December instalment is “Happy Holidays!” and families are invited to attend the outdoor event for children aged up to five years old with a picnic blanket for fun, songs and stories.
The first Happy Holidays! Spark in the Park event will be held on Wednesday, December 4 at the Randwick Community Centre. It will begin at 10.30 and run until 11.30 am. The centre is situated at 27 Munda Street in Randwick.
The event is entirely free to attend, but those wishing to take part are advised that Spark in the Park can be cancelled on short notice when weather conditions are unsuitable. Advance booking is essential for families wishing to attend, and if they are unable to participate, a cancellation should be made to offer up an available spot for another family.
