Randwick area to appreciate music legend

An iconic artist from America will soon be performing live on stage in Sydney.

Celebrated singer-songwriter George Benson is playing at an acclaimed venue in Sydney, allowing music fans from suburbs like Randwick to see him sing his classic hits. Theatres, concert halls and other live music venues sometimes enlist the help of professional Print shops to create promotional materials like leaflets, Booklets and Posters.

Randwick music lovers attending the shows will be able to witness Benson playing a set-list packed with songs from his long and successful career, which started at age 19. Songs on the night could feature “Never Give Up on a Good Thing”, “Nothing’s Going to Change My Love for You”, “Lady Love Me”, “Turn Your Love Around” and “In Your Eyes”.

Married to his wife Johnnie Lee since back in 1962, Benson has seven children and states his family commitment as the inspiration for his wealth of songs about love and romance.

Benson rose to fame in the 60s playing soul jazz alongside Jack McDuff. Later, he launched a solo career singing and playing pop, jazz and R&B. In 1976, his world-renowned album entitled “Breezin” reached number one and became a triple-platinum hit.

George Benson will play at Sydney’s State Theatre at 49 Market Street on Wednesday, April 13. The show will start at 8 pm and end at midnight.
