A workshop will be run later this month for cycle enthusiasts to increase their knowledge of maintenance needs for their bicycles.
The day will focus on ways to best set up a brake cabling system and will also teach attendees how to make the necessary adjustments to those systems.
This is an intermediate workshop and all students are required to have completed an initial beginners bike maintenance program, as the class will build on knowledge students have previously gained.
Topics to be covered on the day will include an introduction to the most common bike cable systems including V-brakes, cable disc brakes and road caliper brakes. Information on how to adjust the systems as well as make gear adjustments will also be discussed.
Attendees are required to bring along their own bike and take a replacement set of brake pads if required. Workshops such as these may use flyer printing services to advertise upcoming events within the community.
The workshop will have a few tools on hand that students may use, however participants can bring along their own tools as well cleaning supplies that they may wish to use on the day.
The Intermediate Bike Maintenance Workshop will be run on Saturday 29th June from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the Randwick Community Centre. Bookings can be made through the City East Community College.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
