Randwick locals are being invited to attend an upcoming phone photography workshop scheduled for mid-September.
This workshop is part of a monthly series organised by Randwick City Council. The September session is titled “The Magic of Macro Photography”.
It will include a hands-on experience and an editing segment, and attendees will be guided by photography experts Shane Rozario and Colin Seton.
The workshop is designed for anyone wanting to improve their photography skills or to grow their creativity, and those attending will learn how to use their phone to shoot and edit nature photographs.
The session will explore technical tips and editing strategies, and attendees will have the opportunity to share their photos in an online gallery with the group. Participants will benefit from friendly encouragement and the opportunity for mentoring.
Attendance is open to people of all skill and experience levels.
Organisers of workshops can use banner printing to advertise their event in the local community and draw in attendees.
The Magic of Macro Photography session will be held on Saturday, 13 September at the Randwick Sustainability Hub. The session starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM. Tickets are priced at $5. Children above 12 are welcome. Attendees are asked to bring their smartphone, a battery pack and appropriate clothing for outdoors. To book, those interested can visit the Humanitix website.
