World-famous Irish band The Corrs will bring their spectacular Celtic sound to Newcastle next month.
The family band consists of four siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim, who have been performing for the last 30 years. Their biggest hits include ‘Forgiven Not Forgotten’, ‘Runaway’ and ‘Irresistible’, and the Newcastle concert will be part of their 2023 National Tour of Australia. While all four members of The Corrs sing, Andrea will take lead vocal role during the concert, with Sharon on the violin, Caroline the drums and piano, and Jim on the guitar and piano. The Corrs will be joined on stage by Natalie Imbruglia, Toni Childs and Germein. Imbruglia grew up in New South Wales and has had an extensive acting and music career. American musician Toni Childs has had several international hits including ‘Don’t Walk Away’ and ‘I’ve Got to Go Now’. Georgia, Ella and Clara Germein are from Adelaide, and began their careers busking on the local streets. Since then, they have been awarded the South Australian Most Popular Pop Artists in both 2019 and 2020.
