An ARIA Award-winning performer is soon set to play a live gig in Newcastle.
Newcastle music lovers are in for a treat this April, as Australian vocalist Karise Eden will be performing at King Street for a single-night show. Playing guitar and singing since the age of 13, Eden rose to fame at 19 when her audition video went viral online.
Today, this video has accrued more than 50 million views on the sharing platform YouTube, and she is beloved as one of the most distinctive voices in the Australian music industry, with gold and platinum records to her credit.
A formidable singer, Eden is often compared to artists like Amy Winehouse. In her solo shows, the artist is armed with only a guitar and her original songs from albums like “My Journey”, “Things I’ve Done” and “Born to Fight”.
