Newcastle Food Month has returned for its fifth year, celebrating all levels of the Newcastle food scene, from its finest restaurants to its tiniest cafes.
This month-long festival brings together the whole city, with 80 venues and businesses participating in 70 featured events and offering 50 “Plate Date” $30 meal and drink deals in establishments across the city.
Newcastle visitors and residents can choose from a range of buffet spreads, authentic Italian dinners, and pub specials, or get fancy with high teas, wine and beer dinners, and special events. Adventurous foodies can head down Darby Street every Wednesday in April to experience the International Eat Street event, choosing from 13 different restaurants and ending their night with live performances from local music talent.
The festival will also host several classes, where participants can get hands on with salami making or explore the process of making champagne.
Food festivals like this one that showcase the food and drink of the local region are a great way for local restaurants to promote themselves to new customers. Printing services may be used to produce new Menus for duration of the event, featuring the highlighted dishes, local products, and logo designs of the establishment.
