Fun run to come to Newcastle
Newcastle locals are invited to attend a family-friendly event coming to the city in September.
The event will feature a 5-kilometre fun run for people of all ages and levels of fitness. Participants can choose to run shorter distances, finish one lap or complete the whole run. They can run, walk, dance, jog or even crawl their way through the course.
The run is untimed and participants can complete the course at their own pace.
During the run, five colour stations will spray participants with vibrant colours. A foam and bubble machine will add more excitement and fun, spraying gentle, biodegradable and non-toxic bubbles to delight all participants.
Colour-in competitions, giveaways and food market stalls featuring a variety of vendors will add more atmosphere to the day.
Entry is free for carers and companions, and dogs are also welcome at this event.
Colour Frenzy raises money primarily to support local animal rescues, with a portion of the funds raised supporting other charities and welfare organisations.
