First responders from Greenfield work hard every day to keep their community safe. Area legal professionals have been asked to show them their support by volunteering their services during a legal clinic for first responders that will focus on wills and estate planning.
‘Wills for Heroes’ is in the planning stages of a legal clinic, and it is seeking volunteer attorneys, notaries and other who are willing to lend a helping hand. Financial support for the day is being provided by the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Young Lawyers Division, as well as LexisNexis, Foley & Lardner, and HotDocs, and also the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Both lawyers who specialize in estate planning and attorneys in general are needed to make the day a success. There will be at least one estate planning expert on hand, and all of the lawyers will be able to answer questions, assist the first responders in filling out Forms, and generate documents for estate planning. The notaries will be able to notarize the estate plans on site, and all of the volunteers will receive training and other assistance to help ensure they are successful in their role.
An event like this can be very helpful, and can show first responders that their efforts are highly appreciated. A poster printing company can be consulted by the organizer of this type of function, and can supply a variety of materials that can market it to its target audience.
January 26 has been set as the date for this free legal clinic, and it will run throughout the day. The Milwaukee Police Association, which is located at 6310 West Bluemound Road in Milwaukee will be hosting the event. Get a Free Quote for Forms
