Greenfield to gear up for car show
The City of Greenfield will hold its annual car show this September, which will be celebrating its ninth year of providing the community with classic car fun and family-friendly activities.
Over the past eight years, the Greenfield Car Show has grown to become a premier motoring event in the area, boasting over 500 cars in exhibition. For its 9th year, organizers have announced some new changes to the event that include an earlier start and end time, reorganized classifications with three new classes, and two new award categories, which are People’s Choice and Cheaters CC. Registrants will also be able to order extra event T-shirts, which will be included in their car show bag during packet pick-up.
The car exhibition will feature a wide range of classic cars, hot rods, and other vintage vehicles. Spectators will be able to visit and peruse the exhibition for free, while car owners can pre-register for $10 per car, rising to $15 on the day of the event.
Exhibitions such as this will often have outdoor venues decorated with large, colorful banners that highlight the theme of the event. Local banner printing services can be a boon to organizers looking to get banners professionally printed.
The car show is slated for September 13 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. It will be held at Konkel Park, which is at 5151 West Layton Avenue, Greenfield.
