Greenfield to brighten city with tree lighting event

The City of Greenfield will spark the holiday season cheer at the annual City of Greenfield Community Tree Lighting Ceremony occurring next month.

Each year, the City of Greenfield organizes the community’s holiday tree lighting in the Tree Lighting Area. The lighting celebration will be accompanied by the Greenfield Middle and High School Caroling Club, as well as a special appearance by Santa and his helpful elves.

The ceremony also features other festive activities and entertainment, including winter games, photos with mascots, and live music. There will be a Candy Cane Hunt Walk to participate in, as well as horse drawn wagon rides.

Children may enjoy the magic tricks and balloon animal creations offered by Magician Anthony. There will also be ample opportunities to take photos with Santa. Food and beverages will be available for sale, and free hot chocolate will be given out while supplies last.

Holiday festivals like this can have their event details advertised on flyers, which can be printed in bulk, often at an affordable price, at local print shops specializing in flyer printing.

The tree lighting ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 7 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. It will be held at Konkel Park, which can be found at 5151 West Layton Avenue in Greenfield. There is no cost to attend.
