Greenfield cat lovers should note that Almost Home Cat Rescue will hold the Bowling for Felines Fundraiser next month in Franklin, just a few miles from Greenfield.
Almost Home Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run, nonprofit cat rescue located in Milwaukee. The rescue’s cats and programs are supported by generous donors who cover the costs of each cat’s care and adoption process. The rescue’s mission is to provide cats with a safe haven until they find their forever home, and to be a resource in the community concerning cats and their care.
The bowling fundraiser will be a nine-pin bowling event, with ticket purchases covering the cost of bowling shoes, bowling ball, and three games. There will be a maximum of five people per lane, and groups will need to register together to play together. There will also be various raffles to participate in. With the raffles, individuals do not need to be registered to bowl to enter the raffles.
Fundraiser events may also invite local vendors to participate, which may prompt participating vendors to set up booths at the event and hand out Business Cards to connect to the community and potential customers.
