Next month, the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) will host the USA Bowling Coaching Seminar for any bowling coaches, including novices, in the Greenfield area that would like to improve their coaching skills.
USBC is the national governing body for all things bowling, as well as a membership organization. It creates and issues the rules, regulations, and standards of bowling to enable a fair and fun playing field. Its mission is also to provide resources to help youth and adult bowlers, such as September’s USA Bowling Coaching Seminar.
The in-person seminar will go over the basic skills needed to teach bowling fundamentals to young bowlers. Everyone, regardless of teaching level or skill level, is welcome to attend. The training materials provided were created by the USBC Coaching Development team, and they can also be found virtually on USBC’s website. The materials include a 140-page manual with everything from basic skill drills to coaching philosophy, an eight-week lesson plan to chart player progress, and two quick reference guides.
The free coaching seminar is scheduled for Sunday, September 12, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. It will take place at Lucky Lanes at address 5014 West Howard Avenue, Milwaukee.
Seminars like this often make use of Stationery printers to easily Print the training materials needed for the attendees.
