Hudson has a long list of fun in the works for this coming holiday season, and the calendar runs from early November straight through until the end of December.
The city’s chamber of commerce has invited everyone to “Have a Hudson Holiday,” and it will be filled with sound, lights, and colorful decor. Many local businesses will be taking part, and both locals and visitors are on the guestlist.
The festivities include a friendly window decorating competition between Hudson’s businesses, and the “Find Santa” program will encourage the public to explore the shops, eateries, and service providers that call the city home. Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday activities will show some love to local companies. Lakefront Park will be decorated for the season. Santa will throw the switch during Light up Hudson and will lead several events, with a Candle Stroll also on the agenda.
To help visitors to the community find a place to stay while they experience all it has to offer, a list of accommodations has been prepared. A brochure printing company can craft community guides to distribute as well as information packets to send out to those who plan on stopping by.
The Hudson Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau’s website offers full details about the celebration, with most of the activities getting underway on the last weekend of November.
