Summer will be even hotter in Hudson this year, and everyone is on the guest list for its annual Pepper Fest.
A celebration of the community's Italian heritage, the festival will be lots of family friendly fun. Festival buttons must be purchased for entry by anyone over age 12, and they will be available in advance and at the gate.
The celebration will open on August 10th with a golf tournament at Pheasant Hills Golf Course, and the festival itself will open on the Friday evening after this. There will be a wide assortment of food booths as well as a beer garden and inflatables for the kids, and a microbrewing and wine tasting competition have been planned. A wine pull is in the works, and those who enjoy their food spicy hot can try their luck in the Hot Sauce competition. Bingo, live entertainment, a queen coronation and pancake breakfast will all take place, and this is just the start of what’s in store.
