Children who sign up for a Seattle workshop will be using materials sourced from nature to prepare handcrafted ornaments. These can be given to someone special or kept for their own tree at home.
The Bellevue Botanical Garden is home to the Aaron Education Center, which will be the venue for an afternoon of programming for the younger set. The participants in Winter Stars will be creating their projects by hand, allowing them to practice their fine motor skills as they have fun.
Both garden members and non-members alike are welcome to register their child, and they are asked to remain on site throughout the activity. Several different techniques will be taught, and all materials needed for the projects will be provided. Tickets start at $17.50, and parents or guardians do not need to purchase one to attend. The class will run for one and a half hours.
A crafting class may provide a welcome break for parents and kids alike from the rush of the holiday season. Poster and flyer printing services can be helpful in promoting an activity, and they will be on offer at local Print shops.
This nature-based crafting class will be held on Sunday, December 4, and it has a scheduled start time of 1:00 pm. The organizers may be reached at (425) 452-2750.
