The Tower Club in Vienna will hold a unique dining event in January and February where guests can try food while blindfolded.
Dining in the Dark is a program that elevates how people taste food by forcing them to focus on senses other than sight when eating. According to the event, the lack of visual references will heighten each participant’s smell and taste senses. Guests will not know what the meals are in advance, though they can select from a meat-based, seafood-based, or vegan option. Each meal will come with an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Drinks are not included in the cost of the program.
The event is part of the Fever Original series, which is a list of exclusive programs offered by Fever. The organization is a live entertainment discovery platform that promotes activities in several cities. Some of the events advertised by Fever include Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares, Bingo Loco: The Ultimate Bingo Party, and Dopamine Land. The company also hosts original events like Candlelight: The Best of Joe Hisaishi.
The blindfolded dining experience will be held on Tuesday, January 28 and Tuesday, February 11. Guests can choose to dine at 6:00 pm or 8:30 pm. The meal cost is $64 per person, and all participants must be 12 or older. Organizations that host unique dining programs such as this can use flyer printing services to locally promote their upcoming activities.
