The Patrick Henry Library in Vienna will hold a meeting where artists can trade craft ideas and materials.
The Art & Craft Supply Swap & Talk is a program where people can meet and learn from other local artists. The experience gives attendees an opportunity to share their art techniques and craft ideas with the community. Guests can bring materials such as yarn, paper, and paint. Members from the Vienna Arts Society will join the event to discuss their current projects and improvisations. The meeting will occur in the Patrick Henry Meeting Room.
The Vienna Arts Society is an organization that promotes the work of local artists and offers educational opportunities for those interested in improving their art skills. The group has an art center that holds monthly member meetings, classes for adults and children, and art receptions. Many exhibitions have been held by the organization, including Wild and Wooly, Bon Voyage, and Vistas. People can become members of the arts society for $50 per year.
The art swap and community gathering will be held on Saturday, June 8th. The meeting will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. No registration is needed to attend the library’s program, and there is no ticket price for the activity. Arts organizations that coordinate similar group activities may use flyer printing to promote their meetings to more people.
