Author to discuss book series during Vienna presentation

The Bards Alley Bookshop will be hosting an event in Vienna where audience members can hear entertaining stories from a published author.

Titled 1903's Crime of the Century and the Emergence of the "New Woman", the program introduces people to the setting and characters of the Avenging Angel Detective Agency™ Mysteries series. The presenting author is Robert Brighton, an award-winning author who was born in Buffalo, New York. He also graduated from the Sorbonne, Paris, and has experience working as a bison rancher, bus driver, and car mechanic.

The Bards Alley Bookshop is a business that was created in 2017 by Jennifer Morrow. The intent behind the store was to give people a place to share their ideas, receive personalized book recommendations, and discover local authors. Many activities are held by the bookshop, such as author meetings with Katharine Schellman, Jane Delury, and Diana Goetsch. The company also hosts workshops for children, like the Summer Reading Bingo program.

The presentation from Robert Brighton will be held on Saturday, July 8 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The activity will take place in the Patrick Henry Meeting Room. There is no price to see Brighton's discussion, and registration is required. Authors that attend meetings at libraries similar to this may bring Business Cards to share with their audience members.
