Chantilly country club to host golf fundraiser
Western Fairfax Christian Ministries (WFCM) is hosting its 7th annual golf fundraiser in the Chantilly area this spring.
The Spring into Action Golf Tournament will start with check-in and a continental breakfast at 8:00 am, and golfers will tee off at 8:30 am. Snacks and beverages will be served on the course. Participants can also compete in driving and putting contests. A barbecue lunch will be served after the game.
Those planning to attend should sign up by Friday, April 25 on WFCM’s website. The cost is $190 for an individual golfer or $680 for a group of four. Golfers can also purchase mulligans (second attempts at shots) during registration. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the lunch only for $60 per person. Some sponsorship opportunities are still available. Interested businesses can contact WFCM to discuss details. Organizations often use printing services to create signs and other materials to recognize sponsors at their events.
WFCM provides emergency food assistance to families in need. Its programs include free food markets in Chantilly and Centreville, food refrigerators at satellite sites, and home delivery where needed. The organization also provides short-term rent, mortgage, and utility bill assistance for qualifying families in Fairfax County.
The tournament will take place on Monday, May 12 starting at 8:30 am at Chantilly National Golf & Country Club.
