A student-led technology conference in Texas will bring together designers, developers, and industry professionals to examine trends in user-centered design. This program is being organized by the UX Club at UT Dallas.
The event will feature guest speakers, question-and-answer sessions, networking opportunities, and exhibitor tables representing companies and organizations connected to digital design and product development. Organizers say the conference encourages discussion about usability, accessibility, and innovation in digital products and services.
The day-long program includes several structured segments. Attendees will begin with a morning breakfast, followed by an opening presentation outlining the goals of the conference. Keynote speakers will address topics related to design strategy, research methods, and product development, each followed by opportunities for audience questions. Breaks throughout the day are intended to allow participants to connect with peers and explore company booths.
Ticket access varies by attendee category. Admission is free for university students affiliated with the host institution, with 146 seats available and sales ending April 3rd. Non-UTD students can attend for $5.00, while professional participants are charged $10. Students must present a valid identification card, and professionals must show identification verifying their organization or workplace. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for student participants.
Brochure printing is often used by hosts of events like this one to provide printed information to attendees.
The conference will take place on April 4th from 9 am to 5 pm at the Sciences Building SCI 1.210, located at 800 W. Campbell Rd, Richardson, Texas.
