Texas to highlight leadership and innovation

The 2025 Texas Volunteer Management Conference (TVMC) will return this October in Richardson.

The event will offer two days of training, collaboration, and professional development for leaders who work with volunteers. Since its founding in 1991, TVMC has become one of the nation’s premier gatherings for those dedicated to advancing volunteerism in nonprofit organizations, public agencies, and the private sector. This year’s conference will feature sessions on leadership, recruitment, engagement, and technology.

Participants can select from 18 breakout sessions covering subjects such as communication strategies, skilled volunteer integration, and leadership development. Networking opportunities, a fireside chat, and an evening social will allow professionals to exchange ideas while building stronger connections within the field.

The event is structured as a hybrid model to ensure accessibility for professionals across the country. Organizers note that participation counts toward professional development hours for the internationally recognized Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA).

General admission is $321.96, including meals and full access to sessions and networking events. Discounted ambassador tickets are available for $129.89, while organizational bundles of four and five tickets are offered at $589.80 and $767.47, respectively.

Flyer printing may continue to serve as an effective method for engaging nearby residents and raising awareness for community-centered gatherings like this one.

The Texas Volunteer Management Conference takes place Thursday, October 9 through Friday, October 10 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center, 800 West Campbell Road, Richardson.
