Plans are underway that will make Plano’s Liberty Recreation Center the place to be for local families looking for some fun. It will soon be hosting a block-style party, and the good news is that it is on offer free of charge.
The organizers of the afternoon have put together an agenda filled with activities, and many of the city's departments have signed on to participate. The police, fire, and animal services department will all be represented, and the students in the crowd can even learn about the local summer job opportunities that may be open to them.
Guests at the celebration can enjoy a drink and bite to eat, and there will also be prize draws and other giveaways of a variety of Promotional Products. The police and fire departments will be giving demonstrations, and at the pet adoption information area, the attendees can learn more about the dogs, cats and other creatures being cared for by the Animal Services Department that are looking for a forever home to call their own.
