A handmade quilt can be a functional work of art, and these textiles will be the stars of the show during a Plano festival coming in August.
The Quilters Guild of Plano recently released the news that its annual show is right around the corner. At least 300 quilts will be on display for the public to view and enjoy, and vendors will be coming in from across the state to join the party.
Along with the quilt show, raffle draw and door prizes, the function will include a vendor area, and at least 45 businesses are expected to be on hand. There will also be exhibits and demonstrations, and a mini quilt auction is on the agenda. Those who would like a deep dive experience are encouraged to sign up for the Introduction to Quilt Judging course, which will be joined by other activities. Admission to the show is $12 for adults, while kids may enter for free.
A community event often requires a lot of planning and custom-designed materials, and Print shops can lend a hand. They can provide everything from Letterheads to draw prizes, all at a budget-friendly price.
The Quilters Guild of Plano has issued a VIP invitation for everyone to attend its annual show, which will be at the Plano Event Center on Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10.
