Whether they are a sewist themselves or simply enjoy the beauty and art of handmade quilts, an activity planned for Plano will have lots to offer its attendees this August.
The Plano Event Center will be rolling out the welcome mat for the annual Quilt Plano Show, and at least 300 of these textile works of art will be on display. It will begin with a special preview night for the exhibitors, members and their families, and the next day it will be open to the general public.
Those who include the show in their plans will be able to view hundreds of handmade quilts and learn more about the people who crafted them. A mini quilt auction is in the works, and there will be special exhibits as well. Everyone can do some shopping in the vendor area, and both single and full event passes are on offer. These start at $15.00 each, and kids age 12 and under will be allowed to enter free of charge.
Expos, shows, festivals and other large events may require printing services that are just as big. These can be sourced from a banner printing company, which will have the equipment needed to take on oversized Print projects.
The Quilt Plano Show for 2025 will kick off on August 7th with its Preview Night and it will welcome the general public on August 8th and 9th, More details are available on the Visit Plano website.
