Plano farm to welcome kids for morning of four-legged fun

Some furry friends are set to play host to a morning of activities that the organizers hope will have everyone smiling.

Plano’s Heritage Farmstead Museum will be running a session of its Little Farmer Fridays, and kids who take part will be treated to a donkey dance party. The guest of honor will be Poncho, who is a Jack American Mammoth donkey, and it will be offered as a come-and-go activity.

Guests at the gathering will be able to get up and dance to a variety of music, and an instructor from Lifetime Fitness will keep the kids laughing and on their feet. They will be invited to feed the chickens, go for a tractor ride, and make a craft. Parents or guardians will need to purchase their tickets ahead of time, and they will not be available at the gate. Passes are non-refundable, but anyone who needs to transfer them to another family can do so up until the day of the event.

Kids often really enjoy exploring the world around them, and an open house event gives them the chance to do so. Copies of learning materials, waivers, and other documents for an activity can be prepared by Stationery printers.

Next month’s installment of Little Farmer Fridays will take place on Friday, May 10. The Visit Plano website provides details for any parents interested in signing up their child.
