McAllen show to help make wonderful weddings
The McAllen Convention Center will be helping couples plan for their special day by hosting the Rio Grande Valley Wedding Show.
Planned for engaged couples and members of the whole wedding party, the function will be filled with meet and greets with an assortment of area vendors and service providers. These include DJs, dress shops, honeymoon and destination wedding venues, and many other establishments. It will be a one-stop shopping experience, and many of the participating companies will have event-only discounts on offer for any products or service booked on site.
While the attendees browse and meet with the various company representatives that have reserved a space, they will be able to collect business cards from any that catch their interest. Corporate gifts will be distributed, and the first 100 brides to sign up will receive “wedding bucks” which they can redeem at the various businesses.
Along with the giveaways and business expo area, the guests will be invited to take in a show of the latest in bridal fashions and cake and other tastings. Door prize draws will round out the celebration. Tickets are scheduled to be released soon.
The McAllen Convention Center will be rolling out the “white carpet” for this event planned for engaged couples on August 14. The doors will open for the ticket holders at 12:00 pm.
